Innovative networking events were launched with the "Business Breakfast" in Bishkek and the "Business Dinner" in Osh. The participation of 20 committed individuals in each case illustrates the growing need for such motivating networking events. In view of the great popularity, we are planning to organize these events regularly in future in order to strengthen and expand the entrepreneurial community.
Around two years ago, as part of a partnership with the Belgian Technical Development Cooperation (Enabel), 75 entrepreneurs from the construction sector were selected to take part in the BPN program. In the meantime, the entrepreneurs have completed the training program at BPN Rwanda. The project was a complete success and we wish all participants all the best for the future!
14 entrepreneurs from Mongolia traveled to Switzerland. A full program with exciting inputs awaited them. Immediately 6 Company visits were on the agenda. The motivated small business owners had the opportunity to learn from Swiss entrepreneurs from various sectors. Train and inspire directly on site.

René Luchsinger took over from Markus Epper as Country Director Mongolia. Having barely started at BPN, he was already working on site in Mongolia and has settled in extremely well.
From March to April, we held 10 customized basic seminars including business coaching sessions on various business management topics for Khan Bank clients. The audience? 90% manufacturing companies, highly committed and eager to learn.
In partnership with Senior Expert Contact (SEC), BPN Georgia provided 2 program participants with access to practical know-how through volunteer consultancy assignments by Swiss experts. The two assignments took place in March and April.
In 2023, CEO Willi Helbling was once again able to present the BPN Foundation at numerous events. For example, at the Zurich Foundation Day, at various Rotary clubs and at a Globalance Bank event.

Together for a greener city: The members of BPN-business owners' association in Kyrgyzstan have planted 33 new trees in Bishkek!
The BPN-Georgia team has successfully mastered the challenge: despite the difficulties of finding affordable and centrally located office space in Tbilisi, the team was able to move into a new office in a business center in mid-February.
Previously, the team had to accommodate both office and seminar facilities in the same room. The new, separate premises now offer enough space to welcome BPN program participants in an appealing atmosphere.
We welcomed more than 100 entrepreneurs to Nicaragua for our BPN anniversary celebration. As the 15th anniversary could not be properly celebrated during the pandemic, BPN-Nicaragua celebrated the 17th anniversary in a particularly big way.
