A legacy for a better world

The BPN Foundation is passionate about promoting jobs in disadvantaged regions and sustainably improving local living conditions. Through business training, individual coaching, a strong network, and access to financing, we equip entrepreneurs to develop their own potential and strengthen their communities.

But none of this would be possible without generous donations. This is where you come in. Your decision to give a portion of your legacy or bequest to our Foundation can make a real difference. With your generosity, you can ensure that your values and vision live on after your lifetime, bringing positive change to a world that desperately needs support.

How much is my disposable inheritance?

If you have descendants, parents or a partner, they will receive at least their statutory share of the inheritance. Spouses and registered partners are treated equally under inheritance law. Siblings are not entitled to a compulsory share.

The overview on the right shows the minimum shares in which you must divide your assets according to the law. You are free to decide on the free inheritance portion.

Funeral donation

Legacy or bequest

You bequeath to BPN a fixed amount determined by you, an accrued value (a specific account with securities or cash) or an object of value (house, land, art object, etc.).

BPN as co-heir

You determine a percentage inheritance share with which BPN is taken into account. This percentage starts after the heirs entitled to a compulsory portion have been taken into account.

BPN as sole heir

If you have no heirs entitled to a compulsory share,
you can appoint BPN as your sole heir.

Funeral donation

Honor the memory of your loved one by making a funeral donation to the BPN Foundation. In lieu of flowers, your donation will support SME operations in developing and emerging countries.
