Adelphine A.

Originally working in hotel management, this entrepreneur has training in the hospitality industry and practical experience in the service sector. Her passion for plants and nature-inspired design eventually led her into a new career path.

What began as a small-scale hobby involving the cultivation and creative arrangement of plants evolved into a business idea thanks to positive feedback and growing customer interest. In 2018, she took the plunge into self-employment and founded a company specializing in horticulture and landscaping.

Since then, she has gained extensive practical experience in plant cultivation, product development, and customer service. Her particular strength lies in combining creative ideas with entrepreneurial thinking and identifying new market opportunities.

As the company grows, so do the demands on organization, workforce development, and financial planning. To meet these challenges, she would like to systematically develop her business skills.

As part of the BPN program, she is focusing on further developing her knowledge of marketing, financial management, and business leadership. Her goal is to strengthen the company’s operational structures and lay a sustainable foundation for future growth.

Project description

The company focuses on the design and landscaping of indoor and outdoor spaces, as well as the sale of various plants and gardening products. Its product range includes houseplants and office plants, herbs, vegetables, fruit seedlings, and decorative floral accessories. In addition, the company offers services in the areas of landscaping, garden maintenance, and plant propagation.

Through its offerings, the company aims to create natural living and working spaces that promote well-being and contribute to relaxation. In addition to private and business customers, the company also supplies hotels, particularly with high-quality microgreens—that is, young, edible plants.

The business operates several cultivation and retail spaces and employs a team of staff members. One of its particular strengths lies in combining plant production, creative design, and customized landscaping solutions.

To support further growth, the company plans to expand its production capacity. These plans include acquiring its own farmland and constructing a modern greenhouse. At the same time, the company intends to expand its microgreens production to strengthen its position as a supplier of high-quality products to the foodservice industry. Other key priorities include improving marketing efforts, streamlining operational processes, and creating additional jobs.
