Bulgankhangai is a trained physicist and accountant. After several years as an accountant, however, he was looking for a change. Bulgankhangai saw great potential for growth in the Mongolian construction industry and decided to start his own business in 2005. Since then, he has been running his construction accessories company and has grown from a one-man operation to 23 employees today.
Bulgankhangai's company offers gravel, sand, chippings, bricks, cement and black earth in and around Ulaanbaatar. It operates a total of 10 sales outlets in and around the capital Ulaanbaatar, where the construction boom continues and is particularly visible in the agglomeration area. His customers include construction companies, road construction companies and private individuals. In addition to sales, he also offers a delivery service, which is very popular. Bulgankhangais currently rents around 20 smaller and larger tipper trucks for this purpose. Thanks to the numerous sales outlets and the additional delivery service, he provides his customers with quick and uncomplicated access to his products.
In the future, Bulgankhangai wants to make ordering even easier for his customers. He is thinking of smart solutions such as an app, a website, etc. to further optimize and simplify the customer experience. He would also like to slightly expand the product range and offer dry concrete in the future. In this case, he would like to offer the product on site or directly at the construction site with a compact and mobile concrete mixing plant. Bulgankhangai would also like to undergo further business training for these projects and take part in the BPN program to implement his vision.
