Specialty Paint Store

Open

Aliya A.

Although the entrepreneur originally studied law, she found her professional passion in the field of interior design. She joined the then-newly founded company as early as 2018 and, over the course of five years in sales, gained an understanding of customer needs and the unique aspects of the industry.

A subsequent move into real estate brokerage opened up new perspectives for her in the construction industry. Since 2025, she has been applying this experience in her role as branch manager and co-owner. Together with three business partners, she is shaping the company’s future development.

Aliya's strength lies in combining practical industry experience with a keen sense of customer needs and new business opportunities. Now she wants to take the next step in her business's development and transform the existing specialty store into a versatile interior design center.

The BPN program is designed to help them develop their entrepreneurial skills in a targeted manner. The program focuses in particular on sound financial planning, reliable cost estimates, and strategic preparation for the planned expansion.

Project description

The right color can completely transform a room. But with such a wide selection of shades, materials, and finishes, it’s often hard to decide. This is exactly where Aliya’s company comes in: At three locations in Bishkek and Osh, it offers not only high-quality interior paints and decorative plasters, but also comprehensive consulting services for custom interior design.

The focus is on personalized service. Customers can have paint colors tested directly on their walls at no charge, receive an accurate estimate of the materials needed, and, upon request, receive on-site consultation. Thanks to the company’s own paint-mixing facilities, custom color requests can be fulfilled. This offering appeals to private individuals as well as interior designers, tradespeople, and construction companies. More than a dozen employees ensure that operations run smoothly.

The company’s future plans extend far beyond the traditional paint business. A spacious showroom will bring together paints, decorative plasters, lighting, ceramics, and wall panels under one roof. At the same time, the company aims to create a platform for creative exchange where designers, architects, and craftsmen can develop new ideas through workshops and events. This expansion is expected to create additional jobs and provide employees with new opportunities for growth.
