Newly developed format in Kyrgyzstan: Young Minds Forum (YMF) - A platform for the next generation

The Young Minds Forum (YMF) is an innovative initiative of the BPN Foundation, which is carried out together with local partner organizations. It is aimed specifically at young people and young adults aged 16 to 22. The forum offers young people valuable impetus to shape their personal development and professional future and focuses on topics that are particularly relevant to the reality of their lives.

In a compact format of 2 to 3 hours, the YMF combines practice-oriented input, interactive workshops and community exchange. Through close cooperation with partner organizations, the content is tailored to the needs and challenges of the target group in the respective region.

Who benefits from the YMF?

The forum is aimed at teenagers and young adults who:

  • are still at school, studying or in vocational training,
  • are transitioning into the world of work or want to clarify their career goals,
  • are looking for practical impulses for their personal development and life design.

What makes the YMF special?

The Young Minds Forum offers a unique combination of knowledge, inspiration and interactivity:

  • Relevant content: Key topics include values and ethics, personal development, financial literacy, the importance of happiness and satisfaction and the responsible use of social media.
  • Practice-oriented workshops: Inputs, discussions and exercises enable participants to immediately reflect on and apply what they have learned.
  • Inspiring atmosphere: The forum creates a motivating framework that encourages young people to discover new perspectives and contribute their thoughts.
  • Networking and exchange: Participants have the opportunity to get to know their peers, learn from experts and make their first professional contacts.

The involvement of the entire BPN team and partner organizations

A particular strength of the YMF is the active involvement of the entire BPN team and the cooperation with local partner organizations:

  • Diversity of perspectives: The expertise of BPN employees and partners guarantees a well-founded and diverse communication of the content.
  • Local relevance: The partner organizations ensure that the content is tailored to the specific local conditions.
  • Sustainable relationships: Interaction between participants, the BPN team and partner organizations fosters trust and long-term connections.
  • High quality: The intensive cooperation enables a well thought-out and professional implementation of the forum.

Goals and impact

The Young Minds Forum encourages young people to take responsibility for their personal and professional future. It not only contributes to the individual development of the participants, but also makes an important contribution to social and economic stability in the BPN Foundation's partner countries through practical approaches and the promotion of key skills.

With the Young Minds Forum, the BPN Foundation is supplementing its commitment with targeted support for the next generation. The forum not only offers young people valuable insights and practical support, but also inspires them to actively and responsibly shape their future.
