Alphonse is a musician and entrepreneur. Alphonse grew up in a Catholic family, which led him to attend a Catholic high school where he discovered that music was more than just a passing interest for him. While discovering his love for music, he learned to play the guitar and piano. After graduating from high school, Alphonse decided to pursue a different educational path and earned his master's degree in engineering. Every holiday, Alphonse returned home and immersed himself in the local music scene, playing in choirs and delighting the community with his performances. His talent did not go unnoticed and he found great satisfaction in looking after children and teaching them to sing and play instruments. With the support of the community, he realized that his true calling was not in engineering, but in music. Alphonse finally founded his own music school in 2018.
At Alphonse's music school, children and music enthusiasts of all ages can learn various musical instruments, especially piano and guitar. Under Alphonse's leadership, the school has grown to become the only recognized private music school in Rwanda. Alphonse also offers the rental of music equipment and the transcription of musical pieces. His journey has not been perfect as he has faced some challenges, including wrong investment decisions, but he is tireless and looks forward to moving forward.
