Gregory is the founder of a company that focuses on community-based tourism, hospitality and creative arts. He has many years of experience in tourism. He worked as a tour operator until 2000 before starting his own business.Gregory's inspiration is his love for the community and his patriotism, as he grew up as a refugee in Uganda. The company offers a variety of experiences including a restaurant, bar, art gallery, guided nature and village tours, accommodation and campsites.
The target audience is middle-class tourists seeking adventure in nature, university researchers exploring Rwandan culture and biodiversity, and local families wanting to explore their heritage. The company distinguishes itself by serving nutritious organic food, showcasing local culture through drumming and entertainment, and providing opportunities to immerse oneself in nature and interact with the community.
The challenges Gregory currently faces include the limited skills of his staff, financial management, effective control systems and marketing. Gregory believes that these areas need to be addressed with the support of BPN to ensure smooth operations and drive the growth of his business.
