In 2013, a generous German couple recognized Aline's potential and, through their support and belief in her vision, brought her together with influential partners in the tourism industry. This collaboration resulted in significant financial support, which provided Aline with the financial foundation she needed to realize her dream: running her own tourism business. Before starting her own business, Aline gained experience as a guesthouse manager for 2 years. Just over a year ago, Aline finally opened her own business, a vacation resort complex.
Aline is particularly keen to promote women in the tourism industry in her company. The resort is aimed at tourists from outside Rwanda as well as those who want to spend an unforgettable and relaxing vacation in the country. The resort offers various services, including a restaurant lounge, an event hall, a souvenir store and a campsite.
Aline is committed to the growth of the resort, but also faces a number of challenges, particularly in the areas of personnel management, marketing and high rental costs. Her commitment and ambition make her a promising personality in the industry. Aline has a vision of buying her own building where she would like to set up a professional training center for young women who want to advance their careers in the hotel and catering industry.
