Milton is 29 years old, married and the father of one child. In 2012, he started helping his mother in the restaurant and then trained as a chef, which he really enjoyed, although he says it's hard work. A relative with a gourmet meat restaurant hired Milton as a waiter, where he was able to learn a lot. One evening his wife asked him why he didn't want to open his own restaurant at home, something that would never have occurred to him. With some savings, Milton bought tables and chairs and started offering 5 menus in the evening. That was the birth of his own business.
Customers soon asked for more variations and also wanted to come to Milton for lunch. Forced by the pandemic, Milton focused entirely on his restaurant from 2020 and started making good money from delivery services. He reinvested the profits and never had to take out a loan to grow, but he realized he needed help running the business and turned to BPN.
Milton says that there is a Milton before BPN and a Milton after BPN, which are completely different. For him, worlds have opened up and with a new mentality, he has already found solutions to his parking problem in the first few months and significantly increased sales. Milton wants to expand in the future, both at his current location and at another location where he has more space and can also offer events. He wants to purchase better equipment and create a more attractive ambience to appeal to a more upmarket segment.
