Otgonchimeg studied human resources management and marketing. She began her professional career in large companies, including one of Mongolia's leading banks. But the origins of her current work lie in her family: her mother was a respected weaver who founded a company back in 2013 to train people with disabilities and offer them career prospects. Two years ago, Otgonchimeg took over full responsibility for the cashmere business - and is continuing her mother's legacy with great dedication.
Today, Otgonchimeg focuses on the production of high-quality children's clothing made from 100% Mongolian cashmere. The products are aimed at small children up to the age of 3 and are characterized by their natural softness, breathability and skin compatibility. These are decisive advantages for parents in particular - cashmere offers comfort and protects children's sensitive skin in all weathers.
Otgonchimeg currently produces in a small space with a lot of manual work: she operates her main machine in a 22 m² room, while a second machine is located in an employee's home. The products are sold online, via trade fairs and a Facebook page.
In the future, she plans to expand production, create her own space and open a store under her brand. By participating in the BPN program, she wants to further develop her entrepreneurial skills to professionally manage her growing business while combining social values and quality.
