Aizhamal began her career as a pharmacist after completing her medical studies. In 2013, she took the opportunity to rent out her detached apartment via AirBnB. After her divorce in 2022, she sold her apartment and invested in a promising house with a large plot of land near the city center and a well-known ski resort. With her own savings and a bank loan, she financed an extensive renovation, expanded the house with additional rooms for tourists and herself and opened her own guesthouse. There, Aizhamal now runs 5 apartments that offer all the amenities for a longer, comfortable stay, including fully equipped kitchens.
Aizhamal has 2 children: her daughter, a teenager, helps out in the guesthouse. Her son is studying hotel management in Germany and plans to expand his mother's business in the future. Aizhamal has set up a yurt in the courtyard, which serves as a dining and relaxation area, for the well-being of the guests. The house is currently being renovated. For the future, Aizhamal plans to build a comfortable parking lot and hire a security service. Her goal is to save enough within 5 years to buy another plot of land and build an additional guest house. Despite strong competition, her business is always fully booked in the high season, so Aizhamal needs little advertising in the low season.
With a loan from BPN, Aizhamal plans to purchase a modern, intelligent boiler and other equipment for the guesthouse. In the near future, she would like to expand her offer to include services such as breakfast/dinner, kayak tours and airport and mountain transfers.
