Until 2008 Bakytbek worked as a club and stage manager and department manager in various organizations. On the side, he also offered photo and video services for weddings since 2004. In 2008, he quit his job and started his own photography and film studio, which celebrates its 15th anniversary this year. Bakytbek works with his wife, who is in charge of marketing, and his oldest son, who is a cinematographer. His younger son has also started working at the company.
The services of his studio include professional photo and video services for weddings, anniversaries and events, the production of photo albums and the production of advertising products in the form of photos and videos. The studio is located in a rented building in the center of Kant, about 20 km from the capital of Kyrgyzstan. Bakytbek has many regular customers in both Kant and Bishkek. He concentrates mainly on management and customer acquisition, while his wife actively supports him. She used to be a director and presenter at a state television station in Bishkek
The company currently employs 14 people, including 8 permanent employees and 6 cameramen who work on a part-time basis and are deployed at major events. Bakytbek's vision is to open his own media center with an area of 300 m² in the next 5 to 10 years. To do this, he plans to purchase the second floor of a high-end building in the city center to house his office, a beauty salon, a tailor's studio, a photo studio, a wedding dress rental shop and various other clothing items. Bakytbek plans to attend his first BPN seminar in the summer of 2023.
