Rwandan entrepreneurs on a study trip to Switzerland

We recently welcomed a very special delegation to Switzerland: 20 entrepreneurs from the BPN-businessbusiness owners' association from Rwanda traveled through various regions of Switzerland as part of an inspiring study trip - with the aim of getting to know successful Swiss SMEs, gaining new perspectives and promoting international exchange.

From the bakery to the tech company - a varied program

The program was as diverse as our guests themselves: From the traditional Landhotel Hirschen to the world-renowned family business Victorinox, the charming Reinhard bakery, the creative drinks manufacturer Ingwerer, the efficiency-oriented consulting firm Kaizen, the innovative IT company iSolutions, the impressive Swiss elevator manufacturer Emch Aufzüge, to the Widmer joinery and the specialized skin clinic Skinmed - the participants gained exciting insights into a wide range of industries and corporate philosophies.

Whether in the skilled trades, gastronomy, high-tech or healthcare sectors - our guests met Swiss entrepreneurs everywhere who were willing to talk openly about their success stories, challenges and lessons learned. They not only listened, but also discussed intensively, asked questions and shared - a real give and take at eye level.

What made a particular impression was the Swiss dual vocational training system. In many of the companies we visited, motivated young people were actively involved - visibly committed, professional and full of enthusiasm. Our guests were deeply impressed by their top performance and the natural way in which they are integrated into everyday working life.

Experience meets curiosity

Our Rwandan guests brought with them not only great interest and curiosity, but also impressive entrepreneurial experience. The exchange was characterized by openness, mutual appreciation and a palpable desire to learn. It was a valuable opportunity for both sides to gather new ideas.

A touch of Swiss feeling on the Stoos

Of course, a piece of the Swiss experience was not to be missed: An excursion to the impressive mountain world of Stoos offered time to take a deep breath, marvel - and continue networking in a relaxed atmosphere. The good mood accompanied the entire trip and contributed significantly to the success of this special week.

A big thank you to our partners

We can look back on an all-round successful trip - full of inspiring encounters, new ideas and positive energy. Our heartfelt thanks go to all the partners involved. Their time, their insights and their hospitality have left a lasting impression.

Voices of participants

Dr. Immaculée, dentist:

"The Swiss trip will be a memorable event. It strengthened the bond between the rwandan entrepreneurs. We learned from companies we visited that hard work, know-how, ownership, considering the employees as the most important asset to the company and saving for bad days are the keys for success and sustainability."

Patrick U., multimedia company

"This has been an incredibly enriching tour. Thank you all for opening your doors, sharing your expertise, and for the inspiring journey we have shared. I'm returning to Rwanda with invaluable knowledge and connections."
