Beatha discovered her passion for healthy eating during her postgraduate studies in environmental protection. During this time, she regularly advised friends on nutrition issues and developed the desire to start her own family business. In 2019, she and her husband set the first milestone when they acquired 10 hectares of fertile land in Rwamagana, near Lake Muhazi.
Today, Beatha grows avocados, pineapples and French beans on this land - with a clear focus on sustainable methods. She uses organic fertilizer from her own livestock and promotes pollination through beekeeping, which significantly improves the quality of her harvest. She sells some of her products on local markets, but most of them to export companies that demand the highest standards.
Beatha combines scientific know-how with entrepreneurial drive. Her vision: to become one of the leading Rwandan export companies for avocados and beans and to venture into the European market. In order to professionally shape this path, she is seeking support from BPN in the areas of finance, HR management and marketing - with the aim of retaining skilled workers in the long term, increasing productivity and opening up new markets.
