Fahad is not only an entrepreneur, but also an artist who combines creativity with business acumen. Fahad embarked on an artistic journey 12 years ago, specializing in painting and sculpture while studying in Uganda. With his unique skills, he returned to his home country of Rwanda where he set up his painting studio in the hope of developing the creative Rwandan art industry. From his art studio came the concept of his current business: Fahad saw an opportunity to enhance the experience for his art customers by creating a haven in a café and restaurant, with the dream of adding accommodation later on. Today he runs a boutique hotel in the south of Rwanda.
While Fahad has no formal training in business management, his entrepreneurial family has inspired and motivated him. He used his background as a sculptor to design and build his boutique hotel himself, which opened in 2020. Fahad's commitment to excellence is evident in the personalized butler service he provides to international tourists and discerning middle and upper class locals. Through artful decoration and a natural ambience with ever-changing atmosphere and surroundings in the restaurant, Fahad creates variety for returning guests.
With a clear vision for the future, Fahad aims to become one of the leading establishments in Musanze in the coming years. To realize his vision, Fahad plans to expand his hotel with a spa, gym and swimming pools, train his team in hospitality and raise his profile by developing an effective marketing approach. Fahad's aim is to create a place that invites people to escape, experience and be inspired.
