Joinery

Anielka A.

Anielka runs a joinery in Leon with her husband Eynor. Eynor gained a lot of experience in carpentry businesses abroad. A master carpenter Eynor met there always took him with him to his jobs so that Eynor could benefit and learn from his rich experience. This gave him valuable insights, particularly in the area of creating colonial-style home furnishings.

Project description

Eynor has been running his own carpentry business since 2003. Anielka was still employed in an administrative position in the municipality until 2010 and then moved to the joinery. There she took over the administrative management and sales. Eynor was thus able to concentrate on production from then on. Although the pair's joinery had always built up a good reputation and was enjoying continuous growth, Anielka realized that they needed help to develop the business further. Eventually, Anielka came across the BPN program and became one of our program participants.

Anielka has already attended seminars with us and is grateful to finally have a tool that allows her to monitor the finances of the joinery. At the same time, however, she was also downhearted when she realized that the results were worse than she had expected. With the help of BPN, Anielka and Eynor are now tackling some changes and optimizing the business. Among other things, they want to introduce more modern designs, combine wood with metal and create another furniture line. There is still potential in the area of employee management and they would also like to improve the infrastructure in the future.
