Aida is a woman with remarkable stamina and a clear vision. With a degree in economics, she worked in banking for almost two decades before plucking up the courage to take a completely new direction. Driven by the challenges of her everyday life as a working mother - little time, a lot of responsibility and the desire to provide for her family healthily and quickly - she developed the idea of producing natural semi-finished products. Against all the doubts of those around her, she began producing manti (filled dumplings), laying the foundations for her current company.
Aida can now look back on 10 years of entrepreneurship. Her business employs 15 people and has 3 successful branches in Bishkek. At the heart of the business are mini mantys in the Uzbek tradition - with wafer-thin dough, a fine filling and authentic taste. In addition to classic varieties, it also offers creative alternatives with spinach, pumpkin, potatoes or meat. The range is complemented by frozen ready meals that provide families across the country with a practical yet high-quality diet. In 2024, her product took 2nd place in the sales rankings at the national "Manta Festival" - clear proof of the popularity of her cuisine.
Aida has ambitious plans: it wants to expand production, purchase modern equipment, drive forward automation and make its products available in supermarkets, cafés and online. In the medium term, it aims to export and establish a strong local brand with stable structures that create jobs and support regional farmers.
The biggest challenge currently lies in the area of financial planning - from process optimization to building up reserves. With targeted training and mentoring, Aida can take her company to the next level. Her story is an impressive example of how courage, perseverance and passion can turn an idea into a growing business that not only provides for families, but also strengthens female entrepreneurship and local food culture.
