Elvira has a doctorate in psychology and is the mother of 3 children. Before starting her own business, she worked in various organizations as a specialist in school readiness and early intervention for children. There she gained valuable professional experience. Elvira remembers that her father motivated her to take the plunge into self-employment. He advised her to start her own business if she no longer wanted to work for others. She remembered this conversation and finally decided to take this path. A few years ago, Elvira founded her own development center for children. Her husband, a former programmer, has recently been actively supporting Elvira as an administrator in the development of her business and advertising on social networks.
Elvira initially had difficulties finding a suitable location for her business and had to move twice. Now she has found a room with a 5-year lease that is well located and has sufficient space. Currently, 50 children a month visit Elvira's development center. The occupancy rate is currently around 50% due to a lack of professional teachers. Elvira's Development Center differs from a normal kindergarten as the focus is on preparing children for school. It currently offers a support program for children aged 2 to 4 years. They promote the children's early childhood development through play-based lessons, responsibility, speech therapy and artistic activities such as drawing and painting. The development center is open 6 days a week all day and prepares the children for school entry.
Elvira would like to have her own premises in the future. Elvira hopes to gain knowledge through the BPN training to expand her business.
