Bakery

Asel B.

In early 2022, Asel began building a bakery specializing in the production of natural sourdough bread. The inspiration for starting the business came on a trip to Germany, where she learned about traditional baking with natural sourdough. Family plays an important role in the company: Asel's sister works in production, while other family members take care of sourcing raw materials. Occasionally, she is also assisted by her husband.

Project description

Asel's company stands for healthy and tasty breads in which natural sourdough plays a central role. Asel's main target group is the upper middle class, which attaches great importance to taste and quality. The bakery's product range mainly comprises natural sourdough breads and other traditional baked goods. To sell its products, Asel relies both on direct sales via its own store and on cooperation with intermediaries. In its own store, the bread is baked and sold directly on site.

Asel has clear ideas for the future: In the next 5 to 10 years, more bakeries are to be opened and the product range expanded. A particular focus will be on introducing their products to large retail chains in Bishkek. Investments in additional equipment such as ovens and dough mixers are planned in order to increase production capacity. The Asel bakery currently produces around 700 loaves of bread per day, and the aim is to increase this figure to 14,000. Another focus is on personnel development. Asel strives to invest in the training and further education of its employees and to offer them opportunities for internships abroad and to improve their qualifications.
