Chocolate production

Lali G.

Together with her daughter, Lali runs a small but excellent chocolate factory in the heart of Tbilisi. The idea of setting up her own chocolate production business came about two years ago when Lali realized that no confectioner in Georgia offered chocolate for diabetics, vegans and allergy sufferers. So Lali, who had already been running a well-known restaurant in Tbilisi's old town for ten years, attended a chocolate-making course in 2020 and started producing her own chocolate creations in a detached kitchen next to her home. Over the past two years, she has created a remarkable range of chocolates in a wide variety of flavors, chocolate pralines and chocolate cigars.

Project description

Lali deliberately avoids chemical additives and sugar in the production process and only uses fresh products for her ingredients - whenever possible from organic production. On her company's Facebook page and in blogs, she informs her customers about the benefits of sugar-free chocolate and raises awareness for a healthy lifestyle.

At the moment, the handmade chocolate creations can only be ordered via a Facebook store. Deliveries are made in collaboration with a local delivery service. In the future, Lali wants to hire an assistant and a driver and buy her own motorcycle for the deliveries. She also dreams of having her own store with an integrated café.

Despite her many years of business experience, Lali is still unfamiliar with many modern business development tools. She would therefore like to join the BPN program and update her knowledge. To this end, Lali has already attended BPN training courses on "Time and self-management", "Psychomarketing", "Social media marketing" and "Content marketing". Lali has also already made extensive use of the coaching offer.
