Gudula has found her calling in the field of early childhood education. With a strong social commitment and a firm belief in equal opportunities, she and her husband founded a daycare center and preschool in a peri-urban community in northern Rwanda in 2023. The impetus for this came from a community initiative in which she supported disadvantaged children with school fees and learning materials. This commitment gradually developed into a formal educational enterprise geared towards the needs of low- and middle-income families.
Its approach is based on a learner-centered pedagogy that encourages the natural curiosity of children aged 3 to 6. In less than 2 years, the facility has grown to 56 children. The goal is clear: by next year, Gudula wants to increase capacity to 100 children and create a stable, safe learning environment that offers space for individual discovery and social development.
Her vision is a respected, inclusive preschool with high educational quality that sets standards in her region. To cope with the growing organizational demands, Gudula strives to build efficient structures. The BPN program supports her in developing her leadership skills, planning strategically and aligning her educational company sustainably.
