Yvette U.

Yvette describes herself as someone who would never wait for a salary as she feels happier with her own source of income. She even had a side business during her studies as she didn't want to wait for her scholarship. Yvette has started several businesses in the past, but they have all failed. She has thought about it a lot and realized that the reason for the failure each time was that she did not fully focus on the business and did different activities each time.

During the COVID-19 recovery in 2021, Yvette struggled to find high-quality porridge flour and experimented with different types of grain. When she toasted the cereal, the enticing aroma caught the attention of the neighborhood. Some mothers from the neighborhood smelled it and asked if they could buy the flour mix. This is how Yvette eventually founded her current company, which combines porridge and peanut flour and is active in food processing.

Project description

When Yvette founded the company, she realized that she needed a technical expert in food science, but she could not afford the salary required. So she teamed up with a PhD nutritionist and gave him 20% of the company shares. Yvette's company's products consist of 8 ingredients such as corn, soy, beans, sesame and others that contain carbohydrates, proteins and vitamins. The production capacity is currently 5-6 tons per year. In the meantime, Yvette no longer works from home, but has rented an external space for production.

Yvette's vision is to grow her business into a large factory in the food sector that distributes her products throughout the country. Yvette still faces challenges in business management, especially in human resource management and financial management, as she keeps disorganized records of her finances. We look forward to accompanying her on her journey.
