Emmanuel's career began with training at a German-supported vocational school in rural Rwanda, where he qualified as a master carpenter. After co-founding a furniture company where he excelled as production manager, he followed his entrepreneurial instincts in 2020, shortly before the outbreak of the Covid 19 pandemic, and started his own furniture manufacturing company. His uncompromising commitment to quality quickly established his excellent reputation and caused demand to grow rapidly. To meet this demand, he expanded into a state workshop, invested in modern machinery and optimized production processes.
In September 2023, Emmanuel plans to increase convenience for his customers by opening a showroom. He dreams of becoming one of Rwanda's leading furniture manufacturers and offering local, high-quality alternatives to imported products. His target group is discerning private and business customers, including hotels and offices. Product quality and customer satisfaction are Emmanuel's top priorities.
As he is aware that business know-how ideally complements his technical knowledge, Emmanuel has sought support from the BPN Foundation. He is convinced that BPN can provide him with the knowledge and skills he needs to successfully expand his business and get closer to his vision of having his own 1,500 square meter workshop.
