Project description

Honorine recognized that there isagreat demand for healthy cakes and snacks on the Rwandanmarket,as people are increasingly learning to eat healthily. However, mostsweetpastries contain a lot of sugar and chemical additives. Honorine decided to focus on healthy baked goods, using local fruit and vegetables to sweeten and decorate her cakes. She started baking from home and delivering to customers who ordered online. Her products soon caught the attention of the high-end market in Kigali. As she needed to increase her production capacity to meet the growing demand, she moved to a store in Kigali.

Honorine's vision is for her company to become a preferred bakery for the upper class inRwanda. She also wants to invest in training low-income single mothers in baking. Honorine is committed to building a sustainable bakery business. She takes part in annual masterclasses for bakers, where she works with the best chefs in East Africa. She would like to complete a business management course to improve her business management skills. Honorine takes great care of her customers, is competent in sales, but still needs to learn more about how to run her business professionally.
