Training and coaching CHF 250 per month over four years

Project description

She started doing people's hair to support her husband, who earned 5000 Rwandan francs per month (20 CHF). During this difficult time, a friend introduced her to a school that supports vulnerable women - especially women who became pregnant early and had not completed their basic education. She learned to make various items such as home decorations, carpets and other handmade products.

An American lady at this school saw how dedicated and talented Eliane is. She suggested that she go back to secondary school, and with her support, Eliane graduated in 2015.

Eliane currently produces and sells house rugs and various handmade products that are used for decoration at home, in the office and in hotels. She has a vision to start a rug factory that will provide employment to many vulnerable wives and other job seekers. She wants to produce different types of rugs to meet the needs of customers. Her husband works with her and focuses on marketing the products his wife makes.

Eliane is a motivated and hard-working woman who wants to work professionally. To improve her business knowledge, she attends the BPN program.
