Family man Jason's passion for everything to do with computers began when he was 12 years old. This later led him to study computer science, which he dropped out of in his 4th year. Instead, he began working in sales and later as an IT assistant. In his free time and during his breaks, he began programming for his own customers. When he finally had 3 permanent customers in 2008, he resigned and founded his own company. The idea of developing "tropical" software specifically for Nicaragua also spurred him on to start his own business.
Jason began by developing his own integrated accounting software with the option of modular integration. In the future, he would like to adapt this software for other countries in the region. In order to generate sufficient income, he also devoted himself to computer maintenance. Because Jason offers software possibilities that no other local software has and the operation is simple and intuitive, he has a small but growing number of customers.
BPN's business plan helped him to get things out of his head and onto paper and to identify weaknesses, such as sales. With the help of the BPN Foundation, Jason is now focusing more specifically on sales and also wants to publish informative videos on YouTube, for example. In the future, he wants to acquire his own premises and focus on developing his software. His goal is to be able to offer a cloud-based solution in 6-12 months that can also be used on mobile devices.
