Sugar free food

Yelce C.

Before becoming self-employed, Yelce worked for a bank for 13 years, where she worked her way up to Vice Director. The mother of three also gained experience in sales and administration. How is it that Yelce now runs a company that produces sugar-free foods?

Yelce's husband suffers from obesity. Two years ago, she therefore decided to look around for healthy foods. Through probiotics, she finally came across Kamboucha and started making this product herself for her family. This was followed by home-made, healthy granola and sugar-free peanut butter. Yelce was motivated by her mother to develop the products further - she followed her mother's advice and started selling her products at exhibitions. She quickly achieved good sales there.

Project description

Currently, Yelce and her husband are both still employed. They devote themselves to their own business from 4:00 a.m. until they have to go to work, as well as on weekends. They intend to give up their jobs soon and devote themselves fully to their own business. For this reason, they sought help from BPN. They would like to continue their education, especially in the areas of marketing and finance. Yelce has already attended the financial seminar and was extremely grateful for the tool she received there, the financial spreadsheet. Yelce plans to add more products to the range and increase production. Distribution will now also take place via social networks and selected supermarkets. Yelce's 100% sugar-free products are selling well in Nicaragua, a country at risk of diabetes. We are delighted to be able to accompany them in the development of their company.
