Ice cream / computer store

Michelle R.

Mother of three Michelle studied marketing and worked as a sales assistant in a furniture store before setting up her own business. One hot day, her husband wanted to eat an ice cream. Without further ado, he made it himself, just as his grandmother had taught him. It turned out so well that Michelle then started making ice cream herself. The ice cream became increasingly popular with family and friends. Finally, in 2016, she started selling her ice cream.

Project description

In the beginning, Michelle experienced enormous growth and opened ice cream parlors in various locations. She even ran a TV advertisement to promote her ice cream. Due to the political unrest in 2018, sales dropped dramatically. Due to the unstable situation, Michelle moved to Costa Rica with her family for a while. There, she again organized machines and permits to continue the same ice cream parlor concept there. When the situation in Nicaragua had calmed down somewhat, she returned home with her family and put the project in Costa Rica on hold for the time being.

Michelle is currently still working in Nicaragua. She is planning to expand in Nicaragua, for which she needs to increase her production. Michelle would also like to continue her training in Mexico, develop more flavors and now also produce soft ice cream. With improved shapes and packaging, she would like to open up distribution via supermarkets. Her vision is to resume business in Costa Rica and expand throughout Central America. To do this, it needs better equipment that can produce larger quantities of ice cream in shorter production times. To stay in control of her growth and acquisition plans, Michelle has turned to BPN. Michelle has already attended several seminars and is enthusiastic about all the useful things she has been able to learn and apply.
