Project description

With her own company, Arlen carries out smaller construction projects for the food industry. These include, for example, the planning and execution of renovations and small extensions. From time to time, Arlen also receives larger contracts for the construction of buildings. In 2017, Arlen parted ways with her business partner. She was able to take over his share of the company and is now the sole managing director. Shortly afterwards, in 2018, Arlen was hit by the socio-political crisis in Nicaragua. She reacted to this new situation and moved her office to her home.

In the BPN seminars, Arlen has already learned some financial basics, such as how to calculate credit card costs and the profitability of individual orders. Drawing up a business plan also helped her to broaden her perspective and not just focus on current projects. In future, Arlen wants to focus even more on industrial customers and also carry out maintenance projects for them. She wants to train her team better in order to be able to grow and delegate. In order to achieve growth, she also wants to actively approach sales instead of relying solely on customer recommendations. Her quality and transparency are very good and are confirmed by her high level of customer satisfaction.
