Project description

In 2001, the time had come: she opened her own travel agency and gave birth to her daughter in the same year. Unfortunately, they registered their business at the office with a spelling mistake, so that her surname and the business name are now different. But much more devastating was the fact that only two years later her father emigrated to Canada, leaving Veronica alone with debts, business and daughter. However, as she had the necessary powers of attorney, she went to all her business partners and negotiated with them.

She received a new license for her travel agency from the government and worked with her son and another person to rebuild the business. When Daniel Ortega came to power in 2007, there were many political and economic changes, so she had to close her office and continue working from home. With the help of friends, she started offering her services again with a table in a shopping center. This allowed it to slowly grow again and today it is established and well known - even among people living abroad.

Veronica came to BPN in the middle of the major crisis in Nicaragua, which hit tourism particularly hard. She realized that she needed to specialize and focus more and that she was offering certain services that were not profitable and that she should give them up. Accordingly, Veronica can communicate better and more attractively to her target customer segment in the future. She has the opportunity to assert herself in a difficult environment in which many companies are currently having to close. To this end, she also wants to work with freelancers at various strategic points in the country in order to bring her services close to her customers and to a high standard.
