Batzorig discovered his passion for carpentry at the age of 15. After completing his vocational training at a specialist center, he gained his first experience in a furniture workshop before setting up his own business in 2017. He noticed that valuable wood scraps often go unused in furniture production - an observation from which he developed a business idea: cell phone holders made from scrap wood. What began as a small project with his nephew quickly developed into a successful company that now employs 7 people.
Today, Batzorig produces over 20 different cutting board models as well as 2 types of cell phone holders. The products are characterized by the use of food-safe oils, which make the wood resistant to moisture and ideal for contact with food.
Thanks to its participation in projects and funding programs, Batzorig has been able to equip its factory with modern, automated machines. The products are available in several shopping centers in Ulaanbaatar, and the company also offers tailor-made orders for companies - including engraving of logos or names. While Batzorig is responsible for production, his wife is in charge of distribution and sales - a strong team. He is currently expanding a small part of his property to increase production.
