Tulga is 37 years old and studied tourism and art history. But instead of pursuing a traditional career in the cultural or travel industry, he decided to join his parents' life's work: a private school they founded in Ulaanbaatar. What began as an entry into the family business quickly developed into an affair of the heart for Tulga - and later into a real entrepreneurial story.
His parents, both passionate math teachers, laid the foundations for an educational offering geared towards the targeted promotion of mathematical thinking in children by founding a private school and later a specialized elementary school. Today, Tulga is responsible for the entire operation of both schools. Although his parents continue to actively support him, the handover of management to the next generation is in full swing.
The secondary school was opened in the center of Ulaanbaatar in 2004 and currently has around 200 pupils. Lessons take place in rented rooms. This was followed in 2023 by the opening of a second school in a growing part of the city - this time in its own 800 square meter school building. This new school is run by Tulga's wife and has space for 120 children. Although there are other private schools in the area, Tulga's educational facilities clearly stand out.
What makes it special is not only the family atmosphere with small classes, but above all the specially developed teaching program: a curriculum that has grown over two decades and has been tailored precisely to the needs of Mongolian children. In addition, courses are offered in which young talents are encouraged and individual strengths can be discovered at an early stage. The company now employs 52 dedicated and qualified staff.
Tulga has a clear vision for the future: he wants to further his own education in the field of business management and strengthen his business skills. His goal is to continuously develop the school concept - with new offers such as student exchanges, internships abroad and an expansion of science and engineering subjects. As a curious, committed young entrepreneur, Tulga has joined the BPN business owners' association , regularly takes part in seminars and is actively involved in discussions with other entrepreneurs.
