Odontungalag studied tourism and hotel management and has worked in well-known hotels in Mongolia. Her husband is a trained chef. The coronavirus pandemic hit them both hard at the time. They had to reorient themselves and think about their professional future. Odontungalag's husband's father worked in the manufacture of iron products and had a lot of experience in the iron industry. Together they recognized a gap in the market: the production of waste garbage cans and waste separation containers. This is how Odontungalag's current company, which manufactures waste garbage cans and waste separation systems, came into being. Odontungalag's father-in-law now works as a consultant for her company, her husband is responsible for product development and operations, while Odontungalag takes care of management and sales.
Odontungalag's company currently produces large iron waste garbage cans and waste separation containers in a rented building where they have set up a production facility. Their main customers are owners of new buildings, new residential areas, businesses and grocery stores who want to separate their waste. Their advantage is that they not only offer guidance and advice on how to use the garbage cans, but also cover maintenance and repair of damage in their product range, so customers are very satisfied and benefit from a total package.
Odontungalag's vision is to contribute to waste-free production and waste separation among the population. To realize this vision, Odontungalag has set itself the goal of raising awareness of waste separation and waste management in Mongolia in cooperation with other organizations and individuals.
