Lhagvasuren B.

Lhagvasuren worked as a cameraman and director for a Mongolian television station for 14 years. However, he realized that he did not want to work in this profession all his life, but preferred to start his own business. Together with a good friend, who is now his business partner, he finally ventured into self-employment. Lhagvasuren founded his company, which produces juice from goji berries, in 2006 under the motto "Refresh the thirsty, reap success." The company currently employs 8 people. Production takes place in Ulaanbaatar on a rented area of 155 m². The bushes on which the goji berries grow are lovingly tended by Lhagvasuren himself.

Project description

The drink contains over 20 vitamins and other ingredients of the Kharmag fruit, which we know as Goji berry. These make the product unique and very healthy for the human body. The fruit is found in Mongolia only in the regions of the Gobi Desert. In order to preserve the important ingredients, the fruit is processed quickly in the first 3 months after harvest or stored for a correspondingly short time. The name of the fruit species was noted 2,000 years ago in Tibetan medical books as PANMIBRAIBU (панмибрайбү). The drink of Lhagvasuren's company helps with gastritis and can prevent blood pressure fluctuations if taken regularly. It supports blood formation and circulation.

Lhagvasuren sells his fruit juice through six large supermarkets in Ulaanbaatar, as well as smaller stores, direct deliveries, online stores and teleshopping. His vision is to positively influence the health behavior of Mongolians with his drink. His goal is that one day every inhabitant of Mongolia will have heard of his drink. To get closer to this big goal, he wants to acquire basic business knowledge and is looking forward to the seminars and coaching by BPN.
