Project description

Gantungalag specializes in bread with yoghurt, without yeast. Her products are a niche on the market and demand for them is constantly increasing. She currently produces three different types of bread (wheat flour, wholemeal flour and mixed). Her customers are mainly women who are concerned about their health. Gantungalag sells her products in Ulaanbaatar in larger supermarkets, housing estates and food markets. In addition to the organic raw materials, her customers love the daily fresh taste.

In the future, Gantungalag would like to develop and grow its company. As a first step, she wants to reach new customers in the existing market and implement measures to encourage existing customers to buy more and more often. Next, she wants to expand her range with new products. She is currently developing a Mongolian, traditional cookie without additives. BPN is supporting Gantungalag with individual coaching and a loan from the Emergency Fund (Covid-19). This helped her to cover personnel and raw material costs during a short-term liquidity bottleneck. Gantungalag also attends webinars at BPN. It is important to Gantungalag to work ethically, for example to submit correct financial reports to the authorities and to pay all taxes.
