Project description

Batnyam focuses on the production of pasta. His products include various tagliatelle made from wholemeal flour, with carrots or spinach. During the winter season, he sometimes also produces pasta with garlic. His customers are people who are looking for a healthy diet without chemical additives. They particularly appreciate the unmistakable taste of the noodles. Batnyam supplies around 300 to 400 supermarkets in Ulaanbaatar with his freshly made products every day. Today he employs 14 people in two shifts.

Batnyam sees great demand for pasta made from natural raw materials. He therefore wants to develop new products such as pasta with different grain mixtures or freshly rolled wraps. He also wants to further increase the quantity of existing products made from wholemeal flour. Batnyam sees further customer potential and wants to sell his products in around 4,500 supermarkets in Ulaanbaatar in the future. He expects BPN to provide him with business management training and, if necessary, individual coaching.
