Iurii trained as a car painter and worked for several years in a car repair shop in Krigistan. After a brief detour to gain experience in a company in Moscow, where he learned about more modern technologies for the professional repair and painting of cars, Iurii decided to return to Kyrgyzstan at the end of 2013 and open his own small car paint shop. As he did not have enough start-up capital, he could not rent suitable premises near the city center and had to temporarily rent 3 empty rooms in his father-in-law's house, which he converted into a car paint shop. He carried out some renovation work, bought the necessary equipment and tools and started work. Just one year later, he took on his first employee. Since then, the company has grown and Iurii runs his own car repair shop.
Customers appreciate the high quality with which Iurii repairs and paints cars. Recently, Iurii has specialized in painting off-road vehicles and increased its prices. Today, Iurii offers car repair, bodywork, painting and polishing services to the residents of Bishkek and the surrounding area. In the near future, Iurii plans to rent a more comfortable and spacious building. The customers will belong to the middle and upper segments. Iurii wants to continuously train its staff by participating in trade fairs and seminars. The range of services is also to be expanded: Pick-up and delivery service, dry cleaning, computer diagnostics, electrical repair, headlight repair, etc.
Iurii took part in some BPN seminars about 10 years ago when he founded his company. These helped him to successfully open the business back then. Now he would like to complete the BPN training programme for his next step, the professionalization and expansion of his company. To this end, he has also applied for a loan of 10,000 US dollars from us to purchase equipment for professional car painting. We look forward to accompanying Iurii on his journey.
