Trained as a lawyer, Roman recognized a gap in the market for metalworking, which prompted him to change his career and start his own business. The quality of imported painted metal parts was often poor and too expensive for many Kyrgyz. Some products even showed first signs of rust after 2-3 years. Therefore, Roman founded his own company in 2009, offering painting services for metal products. He rented an area of 800 m2, invested in the necessary equipment and developed the required technology himself. Today, there is no comparable system for the complete painting of large parts on the Kyrgyz market.
Roman has built up a good reputation for his reliability on large orders and his ability to manufacture various products himself. His services include painting aluminum profiles, iron grilles and metal products for building façades up to 6 meters long. He sees his greatest advantage in the professional cleaning of the parts before painting, which makes the products more durable and resistant. In 2015, Roman approached BPN for the first time to apply for a loan to purchase a German plant for treating large parts. The application was rejected, for which Roman is grateful today. The rejection encouraged him to build the plant himself, which not only saved him money but also gave him valuable experience.
In addition to his paint shop, Roman runs a store where he sells professional paints to attract more customers. His mother supports him and does the bookkeeping. Roman plans to expand his business further, optimize production and acquire a quality certificate for his paint products. His aim is to use his own funds to build a business premises with a floor space of 800 m2, including the necessary technical rooms, an office and a storage room. He is particularly looking forward to the seminars on marketing and employee management.
