Vivia, a mother of three, initially imported secondhand toys from Europe to sell in Georgia. Until, spurred on by her own children, she came up with the idea of making toys herself. Vivia is 31 years old and now runs her own company, which manufactures wooden toys from environmentally and health-friendly materials. Her range includes imaginative toys and outdoor play equipment that support the child's physical, mental and social development.
Vivia sells its products via its website and Facebook page as well as a popular Instagram channel. The company's production facility and showroom are located in Saburtalo, a popular residential area with high standards in Tbilisi. This gives the company ideal access to a clientele with high purchasing power. Demand is so high that the only employed carpenter has his hands full and additional employees are urgently needed. The Georgian labor market for craftsmen is so dry that Vivia has no choice but to train inexperienced and unskilled employees from scratch.
Vivia loves what she does and is keen to develop herself and her company further. She would like to export her products abroad in the future and is therefore already ensuring that all her toys comply with European health and safety regulations. She wants to create many new jobs and consciously fulfill her social responsibility as an entrepreneur. Since her first contact with BPN, Vivia has already attended the business plan workshop and taken advantage of numerous individual coaching sessions to further develop her business.
