Mireille U.

Mireille is a trained bank employee and is passionate about cooking. Her friends love her food and so she has always been the first port of call when it comes to cooking for guests at various events. When a bank colleague's catering service had to cancel at the last minute before his wedding, Mireille was ready to take on this big task. Her service at this wedding impressed the guests so much that she immediately gained 2 new clients. As a result, she made the decision to turn her hobby into her profession. She quit her job at the bank, invested in the necessary equipment and started her own catering business in her kitchen at home before moving to a separate space.

Project description

Mireille secured contracts with companies such as banks and universities. Nevertheless, the coronavirus pandemic presented the young company with considerable challenges in its initial phase. But thanks to Mireille's passion for cooking, her attention to detail and her customer-oriented attitude, she has nevertheless made considerable progress.

The number of customers increases significantly, prompting Mireille to increase her business capacity from 2 to 5 events at a time. Mireille's vision is to become the leading catering company for high-end companies and individual families. She is building her brand to offer more than just catering, but to give meaning to the event by offering food and arrangements that reflect the theme of the event and meet the guests' requirements.

There are gaps in Mireille's business know-how. She believes that participating in the BPN program will help her acquire the necessary skills to improve her business structure and run her company more professionally.
