A two-year internal process for preliminary clarifications was initiated.
At a first workshop on the topic of "Business Canvas", where we expected around 30 participants, we were able to welcome over 70 interested entrepreneurs to Kampala.
Parts of the BPN Rwanda team and Adrian Borter (Country Director Nicaragua) held a 3-day seminar on executive business administration and a business plan workshop in Kampala.
The extensive documentation relating to the evaluation phase was examined and discussed in detail. The Foundation Board decided that the BPN program will definitely be launched in Uganda!

During the almost 2-year process, the BPN team in Rwanda has made numerous preparations with great commitment. Now the handover is underway and the infrastructure and personnel planning is beginning...
The first cohort of 7 entrepreneurs will start the BPN program in Kampala from Q1/2025.
--> Daniel Matter (previously Country Director Georgia) will move internally in 2025 and take over responsibility as Country Director Uganda.
The expansion into an additional country is a strategic step, to scale our BPN program and thus give even more entrepreneurs the opportunity to benefit from our offers.
