Beverage production

Jean Baptiste H.

Jean Baptiste is a passionate, self-motivated entrepreneur. He runs his own beverage production company that produces affordable alcoholic drinks. Jean Baptiste worked for 3 years as a recruiter in a juice factory where he learned to make soft drinks. Through his experience in the beverage industry, he realized that the quality and quantity of locally produced ginger drinks were poor. In 2019, he founded his own beverage company with his savings. He hired food and laboratory scientists to start trials with ginger wine. His ginger wine is now on the market and is favored by his customers, as ginger promises special health benefits.

Project description

Jean Baptiste's main customers are drinks wholesalers, bars and alcohol retailers. The end consumers are mainly people in rural areas with low and medium incomes who primarily do not drink healthily. The current production capacity is 1,000 crates per week (24 bottles per crate). Jean Baptiste's vision is to become a leading, professional and local beverage company producing affordable alcoholic beverages with health benefits.

Jean Baptiste expects BPN to develop his leadership skills in order to motivate its employees and establish a long-term business. Jean Baptiste has a good entrepreneurial spirit and values; he shows a great desire to learn and change. In the short time he has already spent at BPN, he has shown a commendable change in mindset by separating personal and business finances.
