Project description

Through her experience in education, Martine recognized that there was a need for more creative educational approaches in the Rwandan education system that better addressed the socio-intellectual development of children. She founded a preschool that offers Rwandan children aged 0 to 12 the opportunity to discover their creativity in a natural environment. She offers special activities in her preschool such as gardening, animal husbandry, cooking, reading and painting. Her vision is to give the children the opportunity to become open-minded adults who are ready to use the different facets of their minds, be innovative and take care of the environment.

Martine has already bought a plot of land in Kigali to expand her preschool. She has also started to approach potential private schools where she could also offer her services locally. The aim is to reach children on a large scale.

Martine expects BPN to provide her with the skills she needs to better manage her business and set the right strategies for the expected growth.
