Pacifique S.

In 2018, Pacifique completed an internship at the Parliament of Rwanda, where he observed that entry at the entrance gate was a very lengthy process. Manually registering ID cards for everyone who wanted to enter parliament was extremely time-consuming. Pacifique therefore developed a device and software to make badge registration easier and faster. At the end of his studies, Pacifique and his fellow student Claudine presented the technical concept of an electronic device that can be used at the gates for digital ID card registration as a final project to avoid wasting time with manual procedures. In contrast to foreign solutions, the device can also be serviced cost-effectively by Rwandan rather than international experts. After completing his studies, Pacifique finally founded his own company with his business partner Claudine.
