Publishing house

Dominique A.

In 2015, Dominique founded a publishing house that produces and distributes books for children and adults from an African context and also trains authors and illustrators. It is very important to the 28-year-old that reading and writing skills are spread further in Rwanda. She also offers digital distribution of her books. Dominique has more than ten years of experience in the media and publishing industry and has many growth plans for her publishing house. She decided to join our BPN program so that she can make this sustainable.

Project description

Her clientele includes schools, parents, young people between the ages of 15 and 35, international organizations and charities interested in books from an African context. Over the next few years, Dominique plans in particular to set up a training center for authors, designers and content creators to promote written and visual culture. She would also like to improve the digital offering and be able to offer her books throughout the African continent.

Dominique is a motivated young entrepreneur. She already has many business management skills, but she also knows where her weaknesses lie. We believe that she will be a good entrepreneur and a role model for the younger generation.
