Security technology in transportation

Carla M.

Carla brings an unusually diverse range of life and professional experience to her company. After studying social work and her first years working in the sugar industry, she lived with her husband in Mexico for 8 years, where she started selling anti-theft systems for gasoline. Fascinated by the potential of this technology, she decided to apply her knowledge in Nicaragua - for entrepreneurial reasons, but also to help her mother, as all her siblings had emigrated.

In Nicaragua, she started from scratch and gradually built up a company that initially produced anti-theft tank tops. She adapted the products technically to the local market.

Project description

With a lathe and other machines in the future, Carla would also like to produce spare parts for trucks - a growing segment with high demand.

Carla now employs several people, is constantly acquiring new major customers and is in the process of building her own premises. Her challenges lie in management, finance, marketing and - as for many - in recruiting qualified staff. However, by developing a business plan, she has sparked new entrepreneurial energy, which she is turning into strategic measures.

By participating in the BPN training program, Carla wants to deepen her business knowledge, promote structured growth and establish her company as a reliable supplier of vehicle parts and safety technology in the long term.
