Katherine Q.

Katherine is the founder of a textile printing and work uniform company. With experience in the advertising department of a large supermarket chain, she recognized the potential for high-quality, customized clothing early on. In 2019, she started her first textile screen printing business together with a friend. However, it was only when she realized that there were hardly any high-quality shirts on the market that she decided to produce them herself.

It was a challenging start: the first machines arrived just as the COVID-19 outbreak began, so she started by making masks. Alongside her work for the supermarket chain, she took the opportunity to make valuable contacts in the industry. But in 2022, when she wanted to concentrate fully on her business, she faced a major setback: Katherine's business partner dissolved the alliance, demanded the return of most of the machines via a lawyer (even though Katherine had purchased them) and Katherine practically had to start all over again.

Project description

After a health-related break in 2023, she started again - this time with a clear focus on a higher-quality customer segment. She rebuilt her company, reinvested in her own machines and moved into her own premises. Today, she offers work uniforms with a special focus on creative design, differentiation and quality. Through her experience from the customer perspective, she knows that many customers need expert advice to get the perfect product for them - and this is exactly where she comes in.

Katherine has had her eye on BPN for a long time. Even in the early days, she wanted to be part of the program, but only now has she made it. She is grateful for the financial management support and strategic advice to help her turn her business into a stable and growing company. Her aim is to expand further and add embroidery and bespoke blazers to the range - always with a creative approach that sets her apart from the competition. With her determination and innovation, Katherine has proven that she can turn obstacles into opportunities.
