Construction company

Mariela C.

Mariela is 28 years old and studied architecture. She has always helped her father in the business, who started out as a welder 30 years ago and continued to develop his skills. Her father also studied architecture and eventually started his own construction and transportation company. Despite the unrest in Nicaragua in 2018 and the closure of his business, he has managed to pass on his experience and contacts to his daughter Mariela. Thanks to the knowledge and skills she had acquired from her father, Mariela finally founded her own construction company in 2019.

Project description

Mariela initially offered her services as an architect, but over time she expanded her range to include welding and other construction work. Mariela is constantly looking to expand her business to take on larger contracts. Her desire for continuous growth led her to BPN, where she realized that she still had a lot to learn and improve in order to achieve long-term success. Particularly in financial matters, she realized that she was not making the most of her potential. The BPN Foundation impressed her with its focus on values and ethics, which are a major challenge in the corrupt construction business, but are of great importance to Mariela.

Mariela has ambitious plans for the future and wants to build on her father's success. She wants to land orders from major companies in the country such as Pepsi and Walmart and steadily expand her company.
