Dentist

Saulo L.

After training as a dentist, Saulo worked as an assistant in a dental practice, where he gained valuable professional experience. The owner of this practice left Nicaragua in 2017 and left the clinic to Saulo. Shortly after taking over the business, Saulo struggled with a sharp drop in sales. He lost clientele because he did not advertise and the existing client base did not want to switch to the "newcomer." Unfortunately, he had to discontinue this operation. After a short stint at another clinic, Saulo finally decided to start his own business and opened his own dental practice.

Project description

A friend helped him to develop his brand and Saulo initially worked with the instruments he still had from his time as a student at university. Saulo steadily saved up his income and was able to purchase his first dental chair in 2019. From then on, he also employed an assistant.

Saulo approached BPN because he lacked control over his finances and was looking for support in this area. After the initial discussions, Saulo describes BPN as follows: "The support from BPN is like a freshwater spring in a desert". Saulo would like to expand his company, employ more staff and purchase several dental chairs where specialists can also offer their services. One strategy for this is to conclude contracts with companies so that their employees can obtain services from him. Saulo's good customer relations, ongoing training and investment in sales are paying off, he has a good reputation and is already experiencing slight growth.
